The cast of “Downsizing” shares key moments that defined their characters in the first season and reveals who did the best job impersonating Harrison Ford. When Brett Goldstein, Jason Siegel, and Bill Lawrence were asked how they got Harrison Ford on the show, Siegel said that Goldstein initially wanted “a Harrison Ford type” and was going to audition people who looked like Ford.

Siegel told Goldstein that they should have at least introduced him to Ford, thinking he would immediately turn him down, but at least other people would hear that Harrison Ford had gotten the project, which would spark interest from other big-name actors. Eventually, Goldstein spoke to Ford and convinced him to take the role. Goldstein still doesn’t understand what he did to convince him, but he was impressed.

His dry delivery is absolutely top notch

Harrison Ford is simply amazing in this show! His gruff demeanor and sharp tongue are now my life’s purpose for when I get old. He’s hysterical and I need more of that in my life!!!

This show is so beautifully written

Also, if you’re a Jason Segel fan, you won’t be disappointed. It has a variety of characters dealing with real issues. It gives you all the feels and keeps you wanting more every week.

I can’t wait for season 2!
