The film was originally intended to be an exclusive release for the streaming service Max

Narrative

Porky Pig and Daffy Duck are the only hope on Earth when they face the threat of an alien invasion. The first Looney Tunes film to be released in theaters and not distributed by Warner Bros. Pictures. After the company released it, the film was sent to other distributors, and GFM Animation eventually acquired the worldwide distribution rights and changed the film to a theatrical release.

Porky does the same later in the scene

Inside the meteor, when Daffy demonstrates his talent for manipulating levers, he pulls the levers to lower the machine and pushes them to rise again. But when Porky and Petunia are tied up, Daffy pushes the lever forward, and the machine still lowers them. In the closing credits, Porky Pig delivers his classic statement, “That’s it, people!”, only to be interrupted by Daffy Duck, who tells him that this is not the end of the film and that they need a sequel. Appeared in AniMat’s Crazy Cartoon: Crazy Comic Con Coverages (2022).

And when I finished watching it, I could only think

Mr. Bass Man Written by Johnny Cymbal Digitrax Entertainment under arrangement with Covered Records, Inc. I’m writing this review from Italy, where the film was released on November 7th. I was very excited to see it for the same reasons that many others already had.

They finally did it!

They finally got a REAL movie where these characters can show all their crazy qualities in a more sincere way. The result is a great balance between that classic aura (more senses than you might think) and a more modern setting. First of all, something I’m sure everyone will agree on: it was so nice to see 2D used again in a big production and in such a smooth way that it perfectly suits the characters’ expressiveness and dynamism, and all the settings’ And speaking of characters, I appreciate the idea of focusing on Porky and Daffy, they’re simply the best melody duo of the lot, although I have to admit I prefer Chuck Jones’ version of the duck, more greedy and egotistical than a complete lunatic, but here it serves his job well, so I can’t complain. Porky is just Porky, but he’s also great, and I liked the use of Petunia, she was really fun to be around, and her design was really cute.

It pays homage to classic 40s sci-fi films, as does the rest of the film

The alien invader had its moments too, its design maybe simple but quite effective, of course. And the mind-controlling rubber gives life to some of the images, which were both funny and scary. , overall, a perfect Looney Tunes plot that many may find too simple or lacking in originality, and while I agree that they could have been a little more ambitious. As for the plot and that some of the kinks don’t really work, I also think that overall you should take it as a heartfelt Love Letter to the characters and their legacy, a good way to introduce them to a new audience and remind old fans that it’s still N-N-N-Not all people!
